Individual Counselling
Life is sometimes difficult and overwhelming. We struggle to make sense of our feelings and feel alone in our suffering. In our sessions, you’ll have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your experiences and make sense of your feelings. I help you gain insight and build the awareness you need to manage difficult emotions.
Couples Counselling
Improve communication and positively manage conflicts. You’ll strengthen your connection, work through challenges and resentments, and start to understand the deeper issues. Bring meaning and enhanced intimacy to your relationship.
Family Counselling
Whether you're an adult, teenager (16+), or a parent navigating a strained relationship with a family member, we’ll work together to understand each other’s perspectives. You’ll have space to gently explore feelings of anger, grief, and pain as we get to the root of what’s causing the disconnect. I’ll support you through difficult conversations and help mediate the path toward reconnection.

Meet your counsellor, Jacqueline Allen
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and the dynamics of relationships. As a counsellor in Vancouver with over 14 years’ experience, I support individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from UBC and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based methods tailored to your needs. I’m here to help you navigate what’s next, at your pace, in a way that feels right for you.

Every session is shaped around you: your needs, goals, and what’s going on in your life. In our first session, we’ll talk about what you’d like to focus on, how I can support you, and a bit about your background. From there, we’ll create a plan that feels right for you moving forward.
